UNBOX | Short Film Days is a project linked to emerging directors who, after making their short films, aspire to make their feature film debut. The event therefore aims to become a decisive moment in the process of building the production architecture of the selected projects. The event in Rome is intended as a place for networking, mentoring, and tutoring, where academies, film schools, producers, distributors, and authors can meet, exchange ideas, and start new collaborations.

Produced by Alice nella città and dedicated to the leading operators in short films and the MIA | Mercato Internazionale Audiovisivo (International Audiovisual Market), promoted by ANICA (National Association of Audiovisual and Digital Film Industries) chaired by Alessandro Usai and APA (Association of Audiovisual Producers) chaired by Chiara Sbarigia, it is one of the main events in the international audiovisual industry.

The project will once again benefit from the indispensable participation of SIAE – Società Italiana degli Autori ed Editori (Italian Society of Authors and Publishers) to emphasize the importance of supporting intellectual work and promoting the creation and life of new creative works, with a view to facilitating market access by offering visibility and real tools to transform ideas into professional careers. Furthermore, the support of Rai Cinema as the project's Main Cultural Partner reinforces its vocation as a decisive moment of growth and incubator of ideas for short films and international audiovisual productions.
